WOW! I'm so glad she is growing so well! time is going so fast it scares and makes me sad that it really does go so fast!

Emmas been smiling!

Yup its so fun to be going through these fun stages again and starting with the smiles and seeing her try to talk and coo. its just so much fun!

Logan says chloe!

Logan would never say Chloe. He just would call her "no" for some reason I dont know.. so now finally after he had said so many names and even says Aubrey really well for a longer name.. so finally at 22 months he said Chloe well.."co" or "co-co" way cute!

Motherhood

“[Growing] up in this culture, it is very hard to get a biblical perspective on motherhood. … Children rank way below college. Below world travel for sure. Below the ability to go out at night at your leisure. Below honing your body at the gym. Below any job you may have or hope to get.” She then adds: “Motherhood is not a hobby, it is a calling. You do not collect children because you find them cuter than stamps. It is not something to do if you can squeeze the time in. It is what God gave you time for.”⁷

As I was listening to conference and loving the messages and things that I needed to hear this talk from Neil L. Anderson really hit me and it wasn't something I was looking for and this quote really hit me because as hard as it can be to be a mother. I'm grateful and hoping, praying each day to do the best I can...so it put it into a totally different perspective to me to think of motherhood as a calling! That since we are blessed with children on this earth saying motherhood is a "calling" makes me want to work a little harder on being a mother.

Emmas newborn photos

My sister Aub came to do Emmas newborn photos. It has been fun to do these with Aub since she did them with Logan too. so hopefully we can continue this fun tradition! They turned out so good and Emma did really good till after a while of course when she was "done" since we wiggled her enough! She is a beauty and so photogenic..

Our Little Man

Its hard to believe how fast our little man is growing up.. and to see how much bigger he seems now that we have this little baby girl in our home now. Its so exciting that he is doing so many new things now and more personality is coming out but at the same time so sad that he really is growing up that fast and it does not seem like we can soak it up enough! Even his feet seem bigger and his hands and his face. Even as I was changing his diaper the other day his bum seems bigger! Come on it didn't seem big a few weeks ago! Well compared to a little 6 lb baby bum..it seems huge. So really he will grow more and more each day but I hope he knows he will still and always be our little man..
