Sweet little baby Emma is really 6 months! Just went to her checkup today and time is happening way too fast for me. Well of course its always said but really now with 2 kiddos to chase around this time the months are going faster.
Emmas stats are:
15 lbs 13.5 oz.
26 1/2 inches.
so 2 lbs bigger, 2 inches taller and even her head grew 2 in. so she is strong and healthy. She has excema like mommy and daddy but not too bad. but has it on her neck a lot like I did when I was a baby. All her drooling does not help even with all my cleaning it up and putting lotion on a million times in a day...so we will hope she grows out it like we did.
So the fun things Emma is doing:
-sitting up all by herself(she does like to kick, which shoots herself backwards) wiggly girl..
-she gets up on her knees and tries to kick off
-she babbles and baby talks a lot and gets really loud sometimes when she wants to be heard over our constant chatter:) shes gonna talk too much like mommy:)
-its hard to get her to laugh! she smiles a ton but I have only been able to get her to laugh a few times! stubborn girl!
-she blows bubbles and spits-watch out!- really. we were at chloes choir concert and we all were trying so hard to not laugh and I was worried the bald guy in front of us was getting spit on his head.oops..
-still rolling like crazy
-does the "airplane" hold on her belly putting her legs and arms up and shes flying!
-when shes on her back she is holding her head up most times like she's saying "I can't see everything around me lift me up!" shes buff!
-shes a growler. its funny. I should get a video of it
-she grabs everything! If I'm holding her a the dinner table I give her a spatula or something cuz of course like they do she will grab your bowl, your spoon, the table
cloth almost pulling everything with it..even when I think shes not that close. I learned my lesson:)
-She loves watching Logan play, I love watching them play together
-She is becoming a mommys girl. she loves daddy but at nighttime she just wants mommy! I love rocking her to sleep:)
OK and on a final note--I just LOVE these 2 little crazy munchkins and there daddy(ha ha Jesse I got a picture of you!) Yup they are hard sometimes and at times I feel overwhelmed to take care of them and try so hard to do my best when really I feel like I never have done my best but tried my best. I hope they know I love them with all my heart and will try to teach them what they need. I feel so blessed with what Heavenly Father has blessed us with. Children truly are a joy and teach us so many things:)
