In my thoughts today..

I was rocking Emma to sleep for her afternoon nap. I had been impatiently waiting for that nap so I could nap too..and as I looked at Emma all asleep & cute & cuddly I thought. I'm so caught up in worrying about the future-when is she going to nap?? When will she stop nursing?? When will she stop getting up at night?? 

 Then I realized I was forgetting to live in the present & look at the milestones we have overcome, smoothly without even really thinking about- Emma used to not sleep in her crib-ONLY with us. (which at times I loved) But now she sleeps in her crib just fine. Slowly over time as I put her in her crib every day even if it only lasted a few minutes then I held her. She now sleeps just fine. It makes me think of the scripture "It will be but a small moment"

It seems like forever ago already so Candice live in the present. Do what you can now. Enjoy it now.

Baby #3!

So crazy we are going to have 3 kiddos! We just went to our 1st appt & found out we were about 10 weeks along! Always exciting! We think that might be a week ahead...but we will just see as baby develops.

but so exciting to be farther along then I thought so we might find out the sex in a few appts!! It always gets me teary eyed to see that baby in my belly on the screen. Its becoming more & more amazing to me with each one to see that miracle growing. To see that little head, arms, and legs. I have been reading the magazine from conception to birth magazine they give you at the office & it is so amazing how that baby develops each month! God is amazing!

 So the guess date(I like that better since it really is an estimate..) is April 2nd! I have been early with my 2 pregnancies so we will see. Especially now that I have had a natural birth I will push over my due date unless there are serious concerns.

We are so excited!!

Idaho International Dance Festival!

I love going to the International Dance Festival every year! I love seeing the dancers from all around the world show some cool stuff! Plus I always will have that little spot in my heart for dance.. Its just so fun to see all the outfits. I actually think it would be fun to dress up in some of the countrys outfits(maybe for Halloween) yup call me weird but some of those outfits are cool and seriously some of those people made those outfits! And so far my kids love to watch dance. Its one of the only times Logan will sit still! 

This year was also awesome that the local IBA(Ballroom) group was picked as the USA group. And I knew some of the amazing dancers! Its just amazing to me to see the skill & talent out there!

Plus the fact that podunk, little Rexburg has a great tradition!

Greg's BDay

Now I don't have a good photo of Greg's bday & I don't know if Greg would like the photo cuz we all look like goobers.. But Greg's bday was fun to go to Wingers and hang out with family! Crazy your 25 Greg!! Halfway to 30!! Anyways he got a bunch of cool stuff & its just fun to hangout..plus people should seriously see the messes my kids make at restaurants! I still clean up as much as I can but glad I leave the rest to the restaurant. sorry!!  anyways Greg I hope you had a great bday!

Emmas 1st bday!!

Our little Emma turned 1!! Time does goes fast..I hated that saying when everyone would tell me that but it does & I just hope & try to soak up every moment. 

So here she is 1st thing in the morning. I just thought it was cute to catch her right when she woke up in her cute pjs, hair crazy, "I just woke up" look.

I think Emma had fun at her party. she just looked shocked as we sang to her.

 She helped a little with the presents.

 eventually she ate her muffin once she had a taste of the frosting she was good to go! But oh man she was wired that night! and it took forever to get her asleep!!(but cute pic at the bottom of Daddy & Emma when she finally crashed)

 She loved all her new stuff!

 aww..I just love this.

Emmas stats at her checkup:

Weight: 19 lbs 3oz.

Height: 29 1/4 in.

she is doing great!

Emma is a smiley girl, still a little hard to get her laugh but she can be so playful when you catch her in those moments, she has 4 teeth(2 on the bottom & the fangs on top like Logan! so funny!) I should get a pic of the fangs before they are gone. Emma loves to looks at pictures, give kisses & hugs. She loves to play outside. Shes loving on daddy more & more! She likes to eat dirt & rocks!?? Gotta watch her close.. There are times when Logan & Emma play so cute together and its so cute to watch. Logan is being nicer to Emma at times(of course we will have some rough days) Logan said Emma was his best friend the other day. So cute!  Emmas got wavy hair like daddy. All around Emma is a happy, playful, silly girl!

Chloes Bday!

I just have to say Chloes personality is hilarious! She is friends to everyone, she loves to laugh, and her bday was hilarious watching her unwrap everything. I'm pretty sure she died when she got Aub & Lorens gift that was a One Direction phone cover. So I hope she had an amazing bday. crazy shes 14! Watch out when she turns 16!! and it was a great night of fun, laughs & pictures I love!

 Oh & Logan being a little photographer..ok we are goobers but he catches some fun pics!

Utah/Lagoon!

Since we didn't make it to last summers Lagoon trip. We went this summer! This was Logans 1st time trying out the kiddie rollercoasters, so we wondered how he would do..HE LOVED THEM! We hung out in kiddie land almost the whole day! Well gotta take food breaks & we went on a few rides. Plus I have to do the skycoaster, of course! (its crazy how that ride always is a thrill) 

So we take Logan to the kiddie rides & ask him if he wants to go on a ride & maybe go on the few we can go with him. but he wanted to go on the ride that looked like a space shuttle(if you don't know Logan loves space shuttles!) so we got in line, I walked him to the one he wanted & buckled him in. I wondered if he would flip once he realized I was not going with him. but he held super tight to the bar(see 5th picture). Ya he was holding really tight so I thought he was scared but he was good on the ride, no reaction as we said hi. but he got off and said "Did you see me go into space??" Awesome! So cool he had fun.

So we went on all the rides he wanted to go on except a few he wouldn't go on. It was such a blast to see him have so much fun & want to go again & again. I think Emma was wanting a little bit of the fun too but sorry sista you have to wait.

We also went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy & it was awesome. Logan touched some of the sea creatures. I didn't realize sting rays feel fuzzy! weird..it was so cool to see sea horses, jelly fish, sharks, penguins & tons of unique animals.

had a great time & it was great to see friends and family!

 Logan & his cousin Corbin(Corbin loved hanging out with Logan right away,1st time meeting each other, and Logan was almost overwhelmed with how much he wanted to be Logans buddy. it was cute.

4th of July!

4th of July is always fun. Parade, hang out, play, nap, BBQ, good times with family. Its always a great day of tons of FUN!
