It was so fun to take the kids camping for just an overnighter. I didn't really get many pictures but we had so much I really didn't need to get every pic.. We found a great spot close to home, just in case we needed to go home. It was shaded really great with lots of trees. The kids loved there "little home" & were playing so well together. There was a great path to walk on. The river was right across the road so we played in that Friday night & Sat morning. Most of it was so shallow it would barely cover your feet so it was perfect to play in & walk across in. Grandma came Friday night to eat dinner & roast smores with us. Logan's face was dirty within minutes of being there & I loved it. He was so excited to be out & playing. Thats camping. Campfire, smores, tent, getting dirty, water, discovering bugs, plants, hot dogs, a megasteak Greg gave us:), smacking mosquitos, Emma running from bees, Emma's big fit over wanting to sleep with her water bottle:) a big fit & 30 min later we finally got her calm to go to bed. Plus we randomly saw guys dressed in medieval gear! maybe one of those LARP:) So there are the joys of camping & getting out in nature!
