Emma is 18 months!

Emma had her 18 month checkup today! 18 months! Time really does go by fast! I'm so grateful to not miss moments but of course the time goes faster chasing 2 around. Emma is 32" tall & weighs 23 lbs. 3oz. Shes growing so fast!
She is such a cutie pie! We love her curly hair & big, blue eyes! Those eyes get ya even when she is being a feisty one. Emma is a very outspoken, tenacious, spirited, brave girl who knows exactly what she wants. She  will tell you exactly what she wants. She loves to play with her big brother, playing with anything he does. She loves to be outside even when its freezing cold, she will still let you know she wants to be outside. She loves to eat, which is great because she didn't do well with food in the beginning. but her favs are cheese & cottage cheese! & she loves sugar! watch out for energy if she gets too much!
She can say mama, dada, for Logan she says lo(basically she rolls her tongue to sound like an l), bug, snow, cup, temple, Jesus(those sound so cute!), up, cheese, go, KoKo(from Chuggington),uh-oh, ya(but she likes to growl when she wants something, which is hilarious because Logan started copying her, so we have children that growl to say yes so we have to tell Logan to talk to a big boy not like a baby..), Leah, Aubrey, Chloe, Max, Grandma(which sometimes she calls mom which is funny cuz Logan did that to), Jacob, Jaime, Greg, & many other partial words that of course only we can understand what she wants..sometimes..she still signs a few words like cup & cheese which I love because its so much easier to communicate with that than with screaming & Logan is such a good helper to remind her how to sign which is cool to see what he remembers. Its fun to see him teach her so many things. He is such a good big brother, he is always trying to teach her a new word each day. He helps a lot to convince her to come do things when she wont for me like when I need to changer her diaper..
Anyways we just love Emma & what she brings into our home & how much she teaches us! She is our little firecracker!
